He signed the first contract in IBM history with Ferrell Nolan of IBM affiliate marketing for an extensive campaign of comparison shopping, search engine web traffic, search engine optimization, lead generation, PR and brand management for the month of August 2002.

He began the campaign officially on August 5th 2002. IBM's stock value was at a 2 year low $66. The stock value rose to a high of $82.49 in the following 3 weeks. On August 19th and August 22nd 2002, Befree.com now owned by Linkshare.com, tracked a $2500 average sale for IBM's links coming from the Shop.com Inc network.

In August, 2010, Chris Edwards began one of the most difficult tasks of Reputation Management. Removing, replacing and then diminishing over 30 years of negative reviews, fake reviews, competitor attacks, personal attacks, inaccurate information, inaccurate listings and previous lawsuits that began showing up in the Search Engines about the company.

Over time, all of their negative reviews about their company, their brand names and the owners' names began showing up in the top search results in the first page of Google, Yahoo and Bing.
